Committee members, invitees and staff will participate from remote locations using video conferencing technology. The public may view the meeting through the State Legislature's homepage. https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/ The committee will meet to review the State Treasurer's report on the financial condition of the State budget for State Fiscal Years 2020 and 2021, required by section 5 of P.L. 2020, c.19.

The Office of Legislative Services will address the committee at 11:00 AM. The State Treasurer will address the committee on the report immediately following the completion of the OLS presentation.

The Assembly Agriculture Committee will meet jointly with the Assembly Education Committee. The Committees will receive testimony from invited guests on issues regarding NJ's food supply and food insecurity faced by State residents and students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The invited guests will provide testimony on policies and initiatives being implemented to address these issues. Due to the public health emergency, the State House Annex remains closed to visitors and the public will not be allowed to attend the meeting in person. The Committees will take oral testimony from invited guests, by telephone and/or video, limited to five minutes. Invited guests who will be testifying orally should email the committee aide to register at OLSAideAED@njleg.org by 3 PM Monday, June 1, 2020. Committee contact information will be forwarded to you.
