The Committee will receive testimony concerning the continuing impasse between Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and two of New Jersey's Health care institutions, Hackensack University Medical Center and Cooper University Hospital, with regard to negotiating contractual reimbursement rates. The Committee welcomes suggestions on the most effective means of addressing this issue through legislation.
