The Task Force will discuss problems facing grandparents who are raising grandchildren for economic reasons or due to absence or inability of the parents to care for their children, and possible solutions to these problems. Testimony will be heard from educators, public and private community service providers as well as grandparents who are raising their grandchildren, including custody and visitation issues arising from the divorce of the parents.
